Poetry and Prose

Poetry and prose are both challenging for the writer, as they

must convey a story structure, and to create a skeleton of

the whole little story and, as most of those stories often consist of a

number of stanzas, (paragraphs) or poetic lines, the whole story.

For a writer, it is often complex to create a very short story, entry, main story, results

and use the rhyming.

What is important in poetry is that we have to use figurative language!!

Example: “During my sickness, I see that hungry bear approaching

as in winter”

This sentence idea is for me, and other poets, a must

to provoke emotion.

I am a creative person unable to stop… painting, drawing, and writing poetry,

Now I am trying to combine my art with my drawn pictures, that is not simple.

As many pictures are separate from my written work, and I have to find a link,

somewhere to join those 2 items together.

It sounds simple, as both are my works, but are were created at different times

and different circumstances.

The first book, “A HORIZON FILLED WITH NEBULOUS CLOUDS”

is a collection of poems that I wrote during the last few years with no overall

guide, as life and nature are so widely engorged with ideas and events,

it is difficult to see a natural progression for my ideas, hopefully, my second book will be

more controlled in style and content….but, I am a creator!!
